Liuzhou motor factory produced the first "Liujiang" brand automlile in 1969, and in 1981 joined in "Dongfeng" and became the branch company and first manufaltured "Dongfeng" brand then in 1992, it started making light duty autos and reformed to be Dongfeng Automobile Company Holding, Guangxi Local Gouernment Holding Co., Ltd in 1997 and now it is the key Manufacturing base of middle and light-duty Automobile in the South China. The asset is 1.2 billion yuan.

Now, it owns 1.2 billion yuan total assets, covering 1090 thousand square meters with over 3000 staff including over 1200 technicians and managing personage. It mainly manufactures "Dongfeng" "Cheng Long" two famous brands in two hundred types all in together with 60,000 per year.
